UI Design System for north.io GmbH
The north.io design system is designed for complex applications, for that reason the components are designed minimalistically. The components are reduced to the basics and focusing on expressive colors, shapes and lines. It is a Material-UI-based design system and offers a very wide range of components. The design system is build on the Atomic Design methodology, which makes it very flexible and easily scalable. Colors, fonts or spacing are used as defined and centrally stored design tokens. This has the advantage that the UI can be designed much more consistently, since design and development can use the defined tokens instead of working with color values or font sizes.
WWF GhostDiver

The goal of the GhostDiver app is to ensure that verified ghost nets are regularly recovered by government institutions. With the help of the app, divers can now participate in the preparation of ghost net recovery operations for the first time. Divers can document found ghost nets and verify that an object reported by another user is indeed a ghost net. Ghost net recovery is difficult and dangerous, so the better and more accurately prepared the ghost net locations are, the more efficient and less expensive the recovery can be.

AmuCad is a cadastre for munitions in the sea. An essential component is the analysis of spatial and non-spatial data as well as the management, visualization and analysis of (geo)data. The collection, visualization and analysis will make it much easier to convert data into information in the future. The Munitions Cadastre Sea combines several types of complex data sets. These include heterogeneous historical information (e.g., documents, reports, and maps) as well as actual data to capture the full extent of munitions contamination.

The KIS-SH is an application built with the goal of combining and streamlining all administrative and digital work processes of the bomb disposal unit in Schleswig-Holstein on a single platform. The KIS-SH serves as a centralized hub for the bomb disposal unit to access and manage key information like bomb sites and aerial images. Overall, the KIS-SH represents an important step forward in digitalizing and optimizing the workflows of the bomb disposal unit in Schleswig-Holstein.
