About
SOAPS is used to determine and evaluate safe anchor positions. The use of intelligent anchor buoys ensures that anchoring does not take place in safety or protection zones.
The construction and inspection of offshore installations confronts constructors and operators with challenges that are difficult to plan. Difficulties arise, for example, from rapidly changing weather and water conditions as well as munitions waste on the seabed. To avoid hazards or time delays and thus immense costs, comprehensive risk assessments are prepared for all offshore projects and protective measures are systematically derived for each work step. SOAPS enables the planning and monitoring of buoys and anchor positions, the process of which is currently still very cost-intensive and error-prone.
