About
Colin Reitz is an experience and interface designer creating bespoke, intuitive and user-centered digital products.
The simple and aesthetic design language shows that functionality can be combined with a sophisticated design. The design reflects Colin's values, the communication is transparent, professional and tangible, as transparency and reliability are one of the most important values for him.
The design is located in the digital world and inspired by the trends of modern software development. It supports the desired goals of designing user-centered, functional, but also aesthetic products that people really like and want to use.
Hero Section
The hero section is designed to be informative, with an emphasis on communicating Colin's area of expertise, putting a face to the name "Colin Reitz" and showing parts of his personality in a humorous video.
.
Blog
For better search engine optimization, Colin's blog is hosted on its own domain and specially optimized. When visiting the website, however, this is hardly noticeable, as blog and website merge seamlessly.
.
Works
The simple list becomes a slightly playful element through the use of hover effects, providing a quick overview of Colin's project history with initial information and a project preview.
.
Project
Each project starts with basic information about the project, followed by a two-column layout that displays the content in a comfortable width even on large screens, while still using the full dimension of the device.
.
Call To Action
In addition to the horizontally scrolling text that attracts attention while still blending seamlessly into the website, the square call-to-action buttons deliberately stand out. The goal was to integrate call-to-actions creatively and in a healthy balance between attention-grabbing and non-distracting.
.
Responsive Design
Colin's website adapts exactly to the viewport of any device up to a resolution of over 1800px width. Up to this width, there is no unused space to the left and right of the content, which serves as a quality feature of website development, as it is necessary to ensure that each element adapts flawlessly to a wide range of viewports.
